This is a desktop app, not a browser downloader. Install it on your computer, paste a YouTube URL, and save the file locally. No account and no database required.

How to use

Install the app for your system (Windows, Linux, or macOS).
On first launch, download FFmpeg if the app asks — it is required to mux video and audio.
Paste a video, playlist, or channel URL into the search box, then press Enter.
Pick a format (mp4, webm, mp3, or ogg) and where to save the file.
Watch progress in the list. Open the file when the status is Done.

Tips

Shift+Enter adds another URL on a new line for batch download.
Prefix text with ? to search YouTube by keywords.
Windows only: the key icon signs in for private or members-only videos.
Press Escape to cancel a running search.

Only download content you are allowed to keep. This site does not fetch YouTube videos in the browser and does not store files on the server.
